Road tripping from Cape Town to Wilderness
The great thing about when one decides to visit Cape Town is that there are so many options when it comes to getting out there and exploring.
The city alone is a mecca for exploration, yet if your time is limited why not meander down the garden route in order to experience the various landscapes, people and towns this part of South Africa is famous for. Why not consider road tripping to Wilderness from Cape Town the trip is just over 400kms and takes roughly four and a half hours to get there depending on traffic.
Getting there
There really are only two ways of getting there, you could drive or take public transport. However, buses only leave during certain times. Car hire Cape Town is your best bet. With the city being so tourist friendly this really will be a breeze. Most reputable car hire companies have a branch somewhere in Cape Town most notably the airport.

This is one of the more popular restaurants in Wilderness largely for the fact that they host live music every single night. So no matter what there will be something happening at Cocomo’s. This great restaurant has become a firm favorite with locals and visitors alike for its commitment to quality and service. Go surfing at Victoria Bay
Not far from Wilderness back towards Cape Town one will find Victoria Bay, which just happens to be one of the best surf spots in the country. If you find yourself in this part of the world with a surfboard make sure you stop over at this beach. It’s also a nice beach for the whole family to enjoy with swimming areas and lifeguards.
