Day 1	From your starting point of Windhoek explore the area and prepare for your journey. This itinerary recommends making a pitstop at Joe's Beerhouse or the Independence Memorial Museum. Stay at your lodgings here for one night before embarking on your 12-day trek across the country.	0	Windhoek
Day 2	From Windhoek, make your way down south through semi-arid plains to Duwisib Castle, a 1900s German-style fortress. Find a campsite and stay here for one night.	391	Duwisib Castle
Day 3	Enjoy the breathtaking journey through the Tiras Mountains on your way to Aus. Rest in this town for one night at your preferred accommodation.	213	Aus
Day 4	From Aus, make your way west towards Lüderitz. While driving through Garub, you may spot some wild horses. Stay here for one night before exploring the area.	126	Lüderitz
Day 5	During your stay in Lüderitz, you can explore the nearby abandoned mining town of Kolmanskop and other areas. Then make the long desert drive to Sesriem, the entry point to the Namib-Naukluft Park. Stay near the park overnight.	13	Kolmanskop and Sesriem
Day 6	From Sesriem, make your way to Sossusvlei to explore some of its iconic dunes. While here, you can see the white clay pans of Deadvlei, made famous for its eerie, dead camel thorn trees. Camp in Sossusvlei for one night.	60	Deadvlei and Sossusvlei
Day 7-8	Drive to Swakopmund via Solitaire and Walvis Bay. Continue towards the coast and arrive in Swakopmund. Stay at an Airbnb or guest house for two nights.	406	Swakopmund and Walvis Bay
