Dwarsberg Trout Hideaway is the perfect place for function, fly fishing, and family getaway. There are seven campsites on the banks of the Holsloot River, which are equipped with ablution facilities, warm water and five of these sites have electricity. They can accommodate groups of 20 people per campsite. The five fully equipped, self-catering units can accommodate up to 33 people sharing. Badensfontein Self-Catering and Camping, Montagu

Badensfontein is a beautiful farm in a peaceful, tranquil surrounding situated five kilometres outside of Montagu – a village on the scenic R62. Camping site at the foot of the Waboomsberg with panoramic views. This is the ideal place to relax and enjoy nature. Guests are encouraged to wander around the farm and enjoy long walks fields and vineyards. Electricity on all sites is included as well as camping sites on the grass in the shade of trees, modern ablution facilities with the luxury warm water, small splash pool, and swimming pool and fishing. Enjoy activities such as 4×4 routes, hiking trails, Montagu Spring warm pools, rock climbing and mountain biking.

River Goose, Bonnievale

The River Goose campsites are located on the grassy banks of the Breede River. Only bass boats or canoes may launch here, it is strictly caught and release. Guests have a choice of 19 campsites and all of them are on grass. Most have shade and are wheelchair accessible. All the sites share an ablution block with flush toilet, showers and hot water. However, wood and braai facilities are available. Activities on offer include swimming, fishing, bird watching and riverboat cruises.

Cederberg Oasis, Cederberg

Campsite on a farm is a great accommodation option if you plan on doing the surrounding hikes in the Cederberg. Facilities vary from Backpackers dorm rooms to an original self-catering old farmhouse. There is also a private campsite with grass and shade, restaurant perfect for the meat lovers as well as a cafe with sweets, drinks etc.

SANParks: Diepwalle Camping Decks, Knysna

SANParks: Diepwalle Camping Decks is situated in the Diepwalle Forest area. There are wooden decks that can accommodate a three-man tent, with ablution as well as braai (barbeque) facilities. Enjoy many hikes the area has to offer, mountain cycle routes that take you into the heart of the Knysna Forest, bird watching, picnics sites and scenic viewpoints.
