AfrikaBurn 2011

AfrikaBurn event will take place from the 27th April – 2nd May 2011 in a remote area on the longest stretch of road without a town in South Africa. If you need wheels to get there, you might want to have a look at car hire South Africa.

For now, the event is only five days long, but the aim is to have a year-round operation where artists can meet each other. With a primary focus on art, there will be many creative exhibits and personalities at AfrikaBurn. Music, art exhibitions and performances which are largely interactive, a chance to explore your creative side. AfrikaBurn is a non-profit event where everything is shared and all work done by volunteers. Participants choose what form their volunteer work is and what kind of art they want to contribute to the festival.
This is a unique opportunity to experience five days in a totally different society, different from what we are normally used to, in the relaxed environment of AfrikaBurn.
