Straddling the border between South Africa and Namibia, The ǀAi-ǀAis/Richtersveld Transfrontier Park is a peace park formed in 2003 as the Namibian ǀAi-ǀAis Hot Springs Game Park and the South African Richtersveld National Park were joined.

If you plan on going on an adventure to this majestic location from another part of the country, you might want to use a vehicle to get there. Car rental South Africa would be a great place to start looking for the best wheels to get you there.

Boasting some of the most spectacular arid and desert mountain scenery in Southern Africa, the #TrekSouthAfrica team were fortunate enough to spend a few days in the ǀAi-ǀAis/Richtersveld Transfrontier Park and were blown away by the beauty of the skies above them. Here are some of the best images of their stargazing experience in the ǀAi-ǀAis/Richtersveld Transfrontier Park, taken by Rudolph De Girardier and Alistair Daynes.
