Namibia rewards travellers who value independence, and the 2026 Toyota Hilux Double Cab Auto 4x4 Hardshell Camper puts the country’s remarkable landscapes within reach. Collected in Windhoek, it accommodates four people and combines comfortable touring with a self-contained campsite that travels with you.
At each overnight stop, two hard-shell rooftop tents become sleeping quarters for the group. A 270-degree awning extends the living area around the vehicle, providing useful shelter for relaxing and preparing meals. Bedding, a fridge, gas cooker, kitchen equipment, camping furniture and water storage are supplied, while the integrated two-drawer system helps keep provisions and personal belongings neatly arranged.
Between destinations, four passengers travel in an air-conditioned double cab with an automatic gearbox diesel engine. Solar-assisted auxiliary power supports the camping equipment during stays at remote or unpowered campsites.
From Windhoek, follow your chosen route towards Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Damaraland, Etosha National Park, the Skeleton Coast or the Zambezi Region. Approved cross-border itineraries into Botswana, South Africa and other permitted destinations can also be arranged. Supplier authorisation, the required vehicle documentation and applicable cross-border fees must be organised before collection.
