Doring River White Water Rafting – Cederberg

This is a Western Cape whitewater rafting destination that may only be utilized during the rainier months which are from mid-June to September. This is a perfect weekend getaway for those coming from Cape Town. Consider affordable car hire Cape Town and explore the amazing Cederberg area. In this particular whitewater rafting experience, you’ll get the opportunity for connecting with nature under open skies and fires.

This white water rafting experience changes as the rains come down when the rains became heavier the route changes from a three-level to a four-level. This, however, doesn’t mean that people of all experiences of rafting won’t be able to enjoy this iconic part of South African rafting situated in the picturesque South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal.

Crocodile River near Hartbeespoort – Gauteng – Paddle power

 

This is a wonderful days outing or weekend getaway for those who live in the Gauteng province looking for a bit of white water rafting action. The actual white water rafting trip takes around three and a half hours and despite the name, if the river there is, in fact, no crocodiles in the river. It’s literally on 30 kilometers from one of the busiest areas in the Sandton area of Johannesburg so it’s quite a centrally located area for the city dwellers.

River Rafting at Carryblaire – Parys – Free State

There are two options for white water rafting in this part of the world, one of the options takes only one hour and the other option will take you on a slightly more grueling trip that takes up to four hours the one hour trip includes refreshments and you have to a minimum of four people. The longer one requires a minimum of six people so bare this in mind before booking.

River Rafting on the Kraai – Eastern Cape

This is the ideal summer river rafting experience for those looking to escape the heat and get out there and enjoy some action on the water with friends in the areas situated around Barkly East and Rhodes. Another great aspect about choosing to river raft in this part of the world is the water is generally warmer than streams in the icy Western Cape. The trip ends at the National monument of Loch Bridge which has been there since 1861 making it a great trip for history buffs as well.
