On a Self Drive Holiday Should you Take a 4x4 Rental or an RV Rental

Why RV Rental?
Campervans or RV Rentals are modified vehicles to have sleeping equipment and living space in the vehicle.
Camper Hire in the Cape Winelands
The only downside to Campervans is they are not all 4x4s and are unable to go on 4×4 tracks or offroad. This makes them suited to road trips and exploring places like the Winelands, Garden Route and Safari in paved parks such as Addo and Kruger National Parks.

Even though the Hired 4×4 may offer more limited comfort than a Camper Hire, it does permit you to explore places such as the Okavango Delta and the Kglagadi. And trust me, waking up in a remote bush camp with a lion roaring in the distance is something not to be missed.

Land Cruiser Camper Rental
The campervan will offer you more comfort and living space while limiting the roads you can travel on.The 4×4 Hire offers less living space compared to the campervan rental or RV Hire but can explore more roads.
