Not your Average Interview with Pascale King
Every month we give away MapStudio prizes to members of our Facebook community and then get to know them a little better with a fun interview. Meet Pascale King, our July winner of a gigantic Africa wall map and 300 piece Africa puzzle.
Interview with Pascale King
Drive South Africa: Tell us a joke, any joke.
Pascale: I must say I am not good at telling jokes, but here is a quick one. I failed my driver’s test. The guy asked me “what do you do at a red light?” I said, I don’t know… look around, listen to the radio…
Drive South Africa: If you had to go on a road trip and needed to fit your whole family (and their luggage) into one vehicle, what type of vehicle would you need?
Pascale: The Peugeot 5008. It’s a great spacious economical family car and we love it.
Drive South Africa: When you’re on holiday, what is the one thing you wouldn’t want to leave at home?
Pascale: My camera, for sure!
Drive South Africa: What’s your favourite road trip song?
Pascale: There are so many to choose from, but I’d have to say one of Queen‘s greatest hits.
Drive South Africa: What’s the most beautiful place you’ve ever been?
Pascale: I don’t have one specific place in mind but I do love the beach… from sunrise to sunset.
Drive South Africa: GPS or map?
Pascale: Both. They always come in handy.
Drive South Africa: If there was a donkey in the road in front of you, what would you do?
Pascale: My kids would be so excited, they would probably want a few pictures with Mr Donkey and then we’d probably feed him my apples.
Drive South Africa: How long does it take you to pitch a tent?
Pascale: Pitching a tent would be a challenge. It might take forever.
Drive South Africa: If you had to pick one famous person to take on a road trip with you, who would you pick and why?
Pascale: Justin Bieber. He seems a very talented young man and a good entertainer.
Drive South Africa: What are the ingredients for your favourite potjie?
Pascale: I think I would throw in whatever I’ve got in the kitchen and just to give it a little kick, I’d add some chilli. Okay, now I’m hungry.
