Cape Town International Kite Festival

This weekend is beach time and I would recommend the beach in Muizenberg, for the International Kite Festival on Saturday and Sunday. This year’s theme is “Uplifting Mind and Body”.

This Festival is one of Africa’s biggest kite festivals and attracts people from all over the world. More than 20,000 visitors come to Muizenberg beach to admire the beautiful, colourful and creative kites from different countries.

If you would like the freedom to do what you want, when you want to, you might want to consider car hire Cape Town for your transportation needs.

The brilliant kite creations are not the only attraction of the day, kite-making, food stalls, amusement for kids and craft markets create a complete program for the whole family!
